How to Use Your Academic Assistant
1. Getting Started
Select your education level from the dropdown, then choose your specific grade (if applicable), and finally select your preferred English variant (US, UK, Canada, or Australia). Once complete, the microphone will shimmer to show you're ready!
2. Two Ways to Input
Microphone: Click the microphone icon and speak in any language. The assistant will detect your language automatically.
Text Box: Type what you're working on in the text box and press Enter to submit.
3. Translation Features
Show English: If you asked in another language, this button displays both your original language and English side-by-side.
Select Language: Translate the response into any of the 20+ supported languages.
4. Previous Responses
After your first question, a "Previous Responses" panel appears below. Click any item to view that conversation again. Each response is numbered (Q1, Q2, etc.) for easy reference.
5. Tips for Best Results
Instead of asking questions, tell your Academic Assistant what subject you're studying and what specific aspect you need.
Good: "I'm doing a project on the American Civil War. I need information about the economic causes."
Better: "I'm studying photosynthesis. I need to explain the light-dependent reactions for my biology project."
The more specific details you provide, the more effectively your Academic Assistant can support your learning and project success!
